For the exhibition weaver at Projects Kavel Raffety, I've made a limited-edition tote shopper and a kit version.
You can purchase a kit here. There is a limited edition of 10 kits available, they are signed and numbered.
There are 10 kits and 10 finished bags available. Finished bags can only be purchased from the gallery between 17-22 September 2026, but for those who like to sew their own, you can purchase a kit here with free UK postage. (Sorry due to difficulties with import tax I’m only sending to UK addresses).
Images on the bag are taken from the Princess Pyramid installation which I have printed onto recycled polyester. One side is an image of the exhibition invite and the other a close up of the back of a hand woven tapestry.
When made up the bags are 41 × 50 cm and you have the choice of long or short handles, you choose!
Each kit contains:
1 x digitally printed (joined) front and back bag piece, with pre folded turnovers
2 x digitally printed bag straps, enough for long or short straps
2 x lengths of bias strip to bind side seams of the bag
1 x label with printed QR code which links to ‘weaver’ exhibition info on my website
1 x test swatch – a piece of the same recycled polyester- please use as test fabric for iron settings
1 x printed instructions sheet
